The King and Queen of Slumberland celebrate baby Aurora’s christening with a grand bash, but snub the wicked fairy, Maleficent. A furious, Maleficent crashes the party and curses Aurora to die on her eighteenth birthday by pricking her finger on a spindle.

Luckily, a good fairy softens the curse so that Aurora won’t die but will sleep for a hundred years until awakened by true love’s kiss. Despite the King’s ban on spinning wheels, the curse unfolds, and the palace falls into enchanted slumber and Maleficent conjures a haunted forest to trap any would-be rescuers.

After a hundred years, a brave Prince arrives right on cue. But with ghosts, ghouls, and goons in his path, can Prince Phillip break the curse and wake Sleeping Beauty or will Maleficent triumph?
